Our Mission: Your Body becoming Strong, Free of Pain, and Full of Energy.
We provide professional and comprehensive evaluations to assess your full musculoskeletal system for posture, strength, biomechanics, joint range of motion and pain patterns.
We are like Structural Engineers for the body
We assess why the structure is being held in a pain pattern and treat the causes with various manual skills, modalities, and movement instruction. Working closely with other medical professionals, we will review MRI, CT and X-ray reports to assess appropriate direction of treatment.
We treat inflammation, tightness, weakness, spasm or decreased blood flow to eliminate pain with Infrared Heat Therapy, E-Stim, Modalities and Manual Therapies.
Each patient receives treatment in the privacy of a room which includes a warm far infrared treatment table, and comfortable lighting for the most soothing ambiance.
Specific Corrective Exercise — pilates, yoga, postural awareness and breathing techniques to rebuild your body and eliminate chronic tension holding patterns.
Massage Therapy/Manual Therapy
We provide rehabilitative Manual Therapy combining skills from Myofascial Release (MFR), CranioSacral (CST – SER), Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Trigger Point Therapy, and Tui Na.
Manual Medicine is a coined term to include all hands-on manual techniques that adjust the structure of muscle, bone, nerve and Qi flow. Qi is the descriptive word used in Manual Oriental Medicine called Tui Na. Bone adjustments fall under the DC and OD scopes of practice which we do not provide, but the following are specialties here at Wisdom Wellness Traditions:
CranioSacral Therapy (CST)
A gentle, noninvasive, manual technique is used as an assessment tool plus a corrective and preventative treatment used often with Migraines, TMJ, Sacrum and LB complaints. Often included in all manual treatment sessions.
Myofascial Release (MFR)
A manual gentle holding stretch technique, that is an assessment tool plus a corrective and preventative treatment used often in thoracic, abdominal and low back concerns.
Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT)
A deeper and greater pressure hands-on manual technique is used as an assessment tool for a Physical Therapist and provides corrective treatment for deep muscle spasms that limit blood circulation and lead to chronic patterns of pain.
